The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and Water Fluoridation
Ireland ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1992. The Convention is essentially a ‘bill of rights’ for all children, outlining rights relating to every aspect of children’s lives such as the right to survival, development, protection and participation. The principles of the Convention include:
• Non-discrimination – All rights apply to all children.
• The best interests of the child – All actions concerning the child shall take account of his or her best interests.
• Survival and development – Every child has the inherent right to life, and the state has an obligation to ensure the child’s development.
• The child’s opinion – The child has the right to express his opinion and have it taken account of in any matter or procedure affecting him or her.
In addition, the Convention recognises the critical role of the family in the life of the child.
The mandatory systemic fluoridation of drinking water supplies violates each of these stated principles as outlined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. It is now scientifically accepted that infants are the most at risk from the toxic effects of fluoride. Water Fluoridation discriminates against subsectors of the population in particular young children. Water fluoridation is not in the best interest of every child and the state has a righ not to inhibit their neurological development by introducing a known neurotoxin into their food supply. Water Fluoridation does not recognise the role of the family in the protection of the child and the right of parents to safeguard their children from exposure to known toxins.
Pretty clear cut case if you ask me. Pity I didnt see it before now.

In IAOMT’s ongoing examination of the toxicological data on fluoride, the Academy has made several preliminary determinations over the last 18 years, each concluding that fluoride added to the public water supply, or prescribed as controlled-dose supplements, delivers no discernible health benefit, and causes a higher incidence of adverse health effects.
This current policy position by IAOMT confirms those earlier assessments and asserts that there is no discernible health benefit derived from ingested fluoride and that the preponderance of evidence shows that ingested fluoride in dosages now prevalent in public exposures aggravates existing illnesses, and causes a greater incidence of adverse health effects.
Ingested fluoride is hereby recognized as unsafe, and ineffective for the purposes of reducing tooth decay.

The "horror" we have to deal with, is supported by our Government which inserts this toxic waste into our water. Our government has no idea what it is like to live with someone with Hyperthyroidism. I may handle it, but it is our children who suffer mostly, daily. Fluoride is a toxic chemical that is not suitable for many people and to have our Government enforce it on my wife is a criminal action. I explained this to our Premier, and she brushed me off to our State Health Adviser. Sadly, in our case, our Health Department does not support our family's health. In turn, I have no support of anything they do.

New Zealand Fluoridation Fraud
With all the new information of cover-up and collusion between US Public health officials and the industries using or producing fluoride emissions being dug up by Michael Connett, and the revelations in David Kennedy’s new DVD “Fluoridegate” it is intriguing to revisit another example of fraud in the promotion of fluoridation – this time from New Zealand.
The Smoking Gun
This NZ fraud begins with a smoking gun letter (dated Oct. 12, 1962) from G. H. Leslie the director of NZ Government dentistry – who EIGHT years into the 10-year Hastings-Napier trial (1954-64) complains that they cannot find the evidence to convincingly demonstrate a relationship between fluoridation and lower tooth decay. It is amazing to me that people in NZ who have been made aware of this letter and its aftermath still “believe” in fluoridation and blithely continue to trust NZ dental health officials. But for how much longer?
Here is a copy of that letter containing a very candid assessment pertaining to the Hastings –Napier trial. :

Mr. Swann,
I have delayed acknowledging receipt of Dr. Roche’s letter to you and replying to your minute in the hope that I would by now be able to give a positive reply to your enquiry. I still cannot.
No one is more conscious than I am of the need for proof of the value of fluoridation in terms of reduced treatment. It is something which has been concerning me for a long time. It is only a matter of time before I will be asked questions and I must have an answer with meaning to a layman or I am going to be embarrassed and so is everyone else connected with fluoridation. But it is not easy to get. On the contrary it is proving extremely difficult. Mr. Espia is conferring with Mr. Bock and Mr. Ludwig and I am hopeful that in due course they will be able to make a practical suggestion.
I will certainly not rest easily until a simple method has been devised to prove the equation fluoridation = less fillings

With this letter we have what amounts to a “smoking gun” as far as the inability of NZ dental officials and researchers to show the effectiveness of fluoridation – some eight years into the ten-year Hastings-Napier fluoridation trial. The Mr. Ludwig, who Leslie refers to, is the lead researcher for this trial.
The miraculous turnaround
However, miraculously, two years later this trial was proclaimed a great success in demonstrating that fluoridation resulted in a large reduction in tooth decay (over 60%) and the result was used to push for fluoridation throughout the country. So how in the space of two years was this dramatic turnaround achieved?
The answer came from the late Dr. John Colquhoun, the former Chief Dental Officer for Auckland, who after retirement did a PhD thesis on the history of fluoridation in New Zealand (Colquhoun, 1987). As part of his doctoral research he was allowed access to the official files on the Hastings-Napier trial (though according to his thesis advisor Professor Robert Mann, it became evident that some were incomplete, especially regarding Napier). Based on these official files he was able to see how the deception was orchestrated.
In his thesis and in an article published in The Ecologist (Colquhoun and Mann, 1986) he showed that the massive reduction in tooth decay claimed for Hastings was a complete artifact.
According to Colquhoun the Hastings deception was in three parts:
1) After about two years the control city of Napier was dropped for bogus reasons.
2) The reduction in tooth decay claimed was based on comparing tooth decay in Hastings at the beginning and the end of the trial (and not a comparison between tooth decay in Hastings and Napier).
3) The method of diagnosing tooth decay was changed during the trial.
Colquhoun describes this third aspect of the deception:
“The school dentists in the area of the experiment were instructed to change their method of diagnosing tooth decay…
Before the experiment they had filled (and classified as "decayed") teeth with any small catch on the surface, before it had penetrated the outer enamel layer.
After the experiment began, they filled (and classified as "decayed") only teeth with cavities, which penetrated the outer enamel layer.
It is easy to see why a sudden drop in the numbers of "decayed and filled" teeth occurred. This change in method of diagnosis was not reported in any of the published accounts of the experiment.”
What qualifies these activities as scientific fraud, in my view, is the last sentence: “This change in method of diagnosis was not reported in any of the published accounts of the experiment.”
No rebuttal, No refutation
To the best of my knowledge the evidence that Colquhoun and Mann put forward for this rigged trial has never been refuted. In an email I received from Robert Mann (Dec 22, 2013), he wrote:
“I have never been aware of any attempt at rebuttal, let alone a refutation.”
I would be anxious to hear from anyone who can persuade us that the whole fluoridation program in NZ was not based on fraud.

Professor Denis O Mullane is Vice Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the Irish Expert Body of fluorides & health. Although he calls himself "an independent objective research worker in the field of Dental Public Health", this man has promoted water fluoridation around the world for many years. He has pushed water fluoridation in South Africa along with Seamus Hickey.
Despite Mr Mullane's pro fluoride bias, in 2002 Michael Martin gave him a grant estimated at a million to investigate the benefits and risks of water fluoridation.
The British Fluoridation Society includes Denis Mullane in their information leaflets. He is also connected with the British Nutrition Foundation - this was set up in the 1960's by sugar & pharmaceutical companies such as Tate and Lyle ltd, Cadburys, Proctor & Gamble. Denis Mullane's uncle was chief chemist of Irish Sugar Company.
Mr Mullane is part of a group rewriting a document on "Fluorides and Oral Health", for the WHO. This is one of the men who continues to say that water fluoridation is safe & yet the chemicals used in water fluoridation in Ireland were banned for their use as a wood preservative.

It is a scientific disgrace that a well organized lobby of the American Dental Association ever managed to stampede American legislators into ignoring the highly technical but very cogent objection to fluoridation.

We are fighting for our health here in Australia with approx. 90% of the country polluted with this hazardous waste they call 'water fluoridation' which of course also pollutes us, our food chain, our environment and all life.
Help us force a blanket ban on all water fluoridation in Australia by the disgraceful Australian Government and other Governments (who continue to chronically poison their population etc., via water fluoridation). Thank you.
Water Fluoridation the biggest Fraud in history many believe.
Sadly in Australia, a country which also ratified the international covenant on the rights of the child back in 1992, the convention has not been incorporated into Australian law. This I was gleefully told by the full bench of the Australian Family Law Appeal Court in about 1994. They were not only not prepared to uphold the covenant but by inference apply World Best Practice espoused in the covenant. And this in respect of the protection of an Australian child and her rights.
Furthermore the Australian Society of Psychologist, whose member I sought to be disciplined, also could not apply world best practice. In fact I had the ludicrous situation of a so called professor at Wollongong University who was their head at the time, requiring three attempts to correctly write me a letter notifying me of the society's and its disciplinary board's failure.
I was told by an Adelaide University human rights professor tasked with examining complaints to the UN that more than twenty of my specific complaints out of about twenty six were valid.
I have suffered PTSD ever since.
